Byteset Reprographics started as a Desktop Publishing and design business in the 1990s. We initially specialised in logos (for T-shirts, clubs and businesses) along with the design and print production of low-cost, high-volume letterbox marketing material; hence, the Reprographics part of our name.

With the increasing popularity of the World Wide Web, Byteset moved its focus to web development solutions. Our design experience and technical expertise easily adapted to this new and exciting medium.

This site is simply a placeholder. The registered domain and hosting space is mainly used for development of third party sites (before posting them live). Nevertheless, it attempts to showcase some of our technical abilities. For example, the Artwork and Photographs pages use PHP to extract the image descriptions and other information from an XML file. What that means is the XML file acts like a pseudo database. All the processing is done on the server, thus you are unable to see the site code as written. If you're interested, there are some comments in the code which may offer a clue as to what is happening behind the scenes.
